Lacquered parquet

Parquet finished with mat lacquerBy applying lacquer, a film is created on the surface of the wood which completely seals off the pores of the wood. Lamett oak parquet is finished with a mat lacquer which mimics the appearance of oiled parquet as much as possible. Parquet lacquer is applied perpendicular to the wood grain using a roller. Several layers are applied, and each layer must dry completely before the next layer can be applied. The total thickness of this layer of lacquer determines the wear-resistance of the parquet floor.

Advantages

  • The layer of lacquer ensures optimal protection of the parquet floor; stains cannot penetrate into the wood grain.
