Lamett has production units and offices throughout Europe, the United States and Asia. The Lamett brand name was first used in Sweden in 1985 as one of the very first laminate brands on the market. In 2004 the brand experienced a revival and since then, the range includes laminate, multilayer parquet, solid parquet for the high-end residential market segment and for the demanding project market. Lamett parquet and laminate is currently distributed in over 40 countries worldwide. The United Kingdom, the USA, France, Italy, Belgium, Australia and China are the main markets.

Lamett currently employs 1 500 people worldwide. All wooden floors, laminate floors are produced in-house, both in Asia and in Europe. The different departments together have a production capacity of a few million m2 laminate and more than a million m2 parquet per annum. Lamett always strives for top quality products, specifically through a clear focus on beautiful colours and durable, high quality finishes. The evolution in the systems for the installation of parquet and laminate has not stood still either. A whole range of types of parquet is equipped with a high-performing click system. Thanks to this click laminate and click parquet DIY enthusiasts can install their floors themselves without any problem.

Lamett supports the environment. To this end, only sustainable raw materials are used for which the origin is known. Furthermore the majority of the trunks used are of European origin. Special attention is paid to minimal impact on man and environment during the Lamett production process. All the floors are tested extensively by both internal and external testing bodies. Lamett parquet and laminate floors comply with the requirements of the CE-label.

In 2009 Asia could also not get enough of Lamett and numerous Lamett stores were opened there. The pinnacle was when Lamett won the award for the Top International Flooring Brand at Domotex Asia, the ultimate trade show for flooring.

2010 was entirely dominated by the World Expo in Shanghai (CN). As an official sponsor Lamett was present in the Belgian – European Pavilion with a laminate floor from the Bolero collection.

In 2011 the European branch opened the new showroom in Deerlijk (BE) by the E17. The total surface of the distribution centre , showroom/offices/storage and production space, is 9000 m². For more pictures click following link.
